IT Area Lead Core Banking ING Tech Romania

Constantin Spiridon has been IT Area Lead for Core Banking at ING Tech Romania since January 2018. In this role, he is responsible for managing all core banking teams (approximately 150 engineers) who deliver software, maintenance and operation services to 6 ING countries. He is also responsible for steering the delivery of core banking activities in different ING locations towards a standardized and harmonized core banking system for ING globally.

Holding several roles is his 19-year IT career, he gained an in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle, system and enterprise architecture and of managing a performant IT delivery organisation inside the banking industry.

Other areas of interest for Constantin are the Sci-Fi universe and improvisation theatre; he has performed long-form improv. shows in Bucharest for the past 5 years together with his friends in “ImproVICE” group.
