[EN] The Future Banking Summit is the largest event dedicated to innovation in the Future Banking portfolio and brings together 200-250 representatives from banking, fintech, technology or consulting. The 2-day conference that takes place in Brasov will debate over 30 topics of interest for the banking environment, companies, but also for consumers of financial services.
2024 will also have a series of features that we want to explore together with experts from the financial industry, starting from macro-financial stability, the "health" of the banking sector in Romania and reaching how companies can protect themselves from turbulent and I can do effective cash management. Although innovation will be the watchword at Future Banking 2024, we will approach in a pragmatic way how companies (not only those in the financial industry) can optimize their activity and manage cash flow.
The Summit is the largest Future Banking event, attracting over 1,000 attendees (both offline and online), featuring 40+ speakers, and showcasing the leading banks and fintechs on stage during a two-day banking marathon.
Each year, we focus on a main theme and explore dozens of topics through insightful presentations, fireside chats, and debate panels with inspiring speakers and industry experts.
What’s new in 2024?
First, the main theme of Summit 2024 is the competition between traditional banking and neobanking, as we have witnessed the emergence of new mobile-first banks, while traditional banks have started adopting some of the tactics and growth models of innovative players like Revolut, N26 or Salt Bank.
Second, this year’s Summit experience will be enhanced with the Future Banking Gala, where we will present 12 awards to recognize the innovations and innovators that have transformed the Romanian banking landscape over the past decade.

[RO] Future Banking Summit este cel mai mare eveniment dedicat inovației din portofoliul Future Banking și reunește 200-250 de reprezentanți din banking, fintech, tehnologie sau consultanță. Conferința de 2 zile care are loc la Brașov va dezbate peste 30 de teme de interes pentru mediul bancar, companii, dar și pentru consumatorii de servicii financiare.
2024 va avea însă și o serie de particularități pe care vrem să le explorăm alături de experți din industria financiară, pornind de la stabilitatea macro-financiară, "sănątatea" sectorului bancar din România și ajungând la modul în care companiile se pot proteja de turbulențe și pot face un cash management eficient. Deși inovația va fi cuvântul de ordine la Future Banking 2024, vom aborda într-un mod pragmatic modul în care companiile (nu doar cele din industria financiară) își pot optimiza activitatea și gestiona cash flow-ul.
Summit-ul este cel mai mare eveniment Future Banking, atrăgând peste 1.000 de participanți (atât offline, cât și online), având peste 40 de speakeri și prezentând pe sceną cele mai importante bănci și fintech-uri în cadrul unui maraton bancar desfașurat pe două zile. În fiecare an, ne concentrăm pe o temă principală și explorăm zeci de subiecte prin prezentări pline de informații, fireside chats și paneluri de dezbatere cu speakeri inspirați și experți din industrie.
Ce este nou în 2024?
În primul rând, tema principală a Summit-ului din 2024 este competiția dintre bankingul tradițional și neobanking, pe măsură ce am asistat la apariția noilor bănci orientate spre mobile banking, în timp ce băncile tradiționale au început să adopte unele dintre tacticile și modelele de creștere ale jucătorilor inovatori precum Revolut, N26 sau Starling.
În al doilea rând, experiența Summit-ului din acest an va fi îmbunątățită cu Gala Future Banking, unde vom acorda 12 premii pentru a recunoaște inovațiile și inovatorii care au adus o schimbare în peisajul bancar românesc din ultimul deceniu.
