Currently, Alex is leading the Technical Business Solutions Group for Digital Banking, at a global scale. A role which requires a unique set of abilities that extends beyond product and technological knowledge and involves a thorough understanding of business operations, marketing, legal, risk & regulatory compliance, sales & go-to-market components of a global financial institution. Most recently, the Temenos Fellows and Executive Committee appointed Alex as one of the 16 Distinguished Engineers in the company's 30-year history.   Alina Iacomi is Tribe Lead Digital in ING Bank Romania since March 2019. In her role, Alina oversees everything related to our digital transformation and works on our goal to make Home�Bank a one-stop-shop for the financial needs of the customers. In her 18 years with ING, Alina has come to deeply know the organization, as she has rotated through several management roles across different business lines, proving her versatility and capacity to cover a diverse range of activities She started her career in Wholesale Banking, Payments and Cash Management team (PCM), as management trainee and after a few years in Product Manager roles, she came to lead the PCM Sales team in 2007. Three years later, she was promoted to Head of Payments & Cash Management (later known as Transaction Services), role she has successfully managed for 5 years before changing the business area and embarking into a different type of journey, as Head of Operations, in 2015. Later in 2016, Alina was promoted to Head of Transformation Office, which had been newly set up to incorporate the Program Management Office, the Process Management Office and later on the Agile Coaches Center of Expertise and the Innovation Office. Under Alina's management, Transformation Office was built to become a strong, truly bank-wide and multi-skilled domain, both in terms of scope and impact in the organization, that successfully managed to deliver against our ambition of making our organization fitter for the challenges to come, putting us in a better shape for the future. Alina was instrumental in leading the Agile Transformation in Romania in 2017, and since then being a valuable driver towards the continuous improvement on the One Agile Way of Working. She had a direct contribution to the most critical transformation initiatives of the bank in these years, such as the implementation of the new operational model in branches, the migration of clients from GBS to Profile, building and moving to the new Headquarters.
