With more than 12 years in the financial services technology market, Alexandru Mitroi is an accomplished technical leader with a deep understanding of digital banking, driving strategy and delivering impactful results on a global scale. His experience spans across the entire spectrum of banking verticals, including Retail, SME, Corporate and Wealth.

Alexandru began his career at Temenos as an engineer, building, growing, and leading the product development for digital banking. Subsequently, he concentrated on increasing return on investment and operational profit for future prospects and the current 3000+ financial institutions running Temenos software today.

Currently, Alex is leading the Technical Business Solutions Group for Digital Banking, at a global scale. A role which requires a unique set of abilities that extends beyond product and technological knowledge and involves a thorough understanding of business operations, marketing, legal, risk & regulatory compliance, sales & go-to-market components of a global financial institution.

Most recently, the Temenos Fellows and Executive Committee appointed Alex as one of the 16 Distinguished Engineers in the company's 30-year history.
