IT Lead for Core Banking ING Tech Romania

Constantin Spiridon joined ING Tech in 2018 and he is the IT Lead for Core Banking since November 2020. In this role he is responsible for driving the evolution of Core Banking towards a full-service offering, and managing all core banking teams who deliver software, maintenance and operation services to different ING branches.

Holding several roles over a 19 years career, he gained an in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle, system and enterprise architecture, and of managing a performant IT delivery organisation inside the banking industry. Creativity and imagination are no antonyms to IT and Constantin is the living proof of that: he is an avid Sci-Fi reader and holds a passion for improvisation theatre. ‘ImproVICE’ is a group he formed together with some friends and they have performed long-form improv. shows in Bucharest for the past 5 years, being one of the first groups to do that in Romania.
