Sophie Neve

Counselor for Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality Embassy of Kingdom of the Netherlands

Sophie Neve has worked for the Ministry of LNV since October 2000, during which time she also worked partly for the former EZ and EZK. She has worked in international, national and regional contexts in different roles (policy advisor, coordination officer and sr. policy officer and project manager), focusing on global and European issues at the intersection of agro(food) and sustainability, sustainable food systems, climate, biodiversity, water and rural transition. He has also contributed to the Dutch National Strategic Plan in the context of the CAP in an evaluation role.

Sophie's motivation is to be able to contribute to global challenges at a local level, in liaison and

cooperation with others. In Romania, Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova, she sees great opportunities to work with governments, knowledge institutes and businesses on LNV issues to take important follow- up steps together with her team.
