Guilherme (Gui) Athia is a former Nike Vice-President for Public & Government Affairs (EMEA) and senior executive with 30+ years in corporate affairs at Alcatel, Renault, Philip Morris and Nike. He has worked across Brazil, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, engaging governments, NGOs, media and non-transactional stakeholders.
Founder of IRELGOV and creator of pioneering courses on Government Relations (INSPER) and Stakeholder Governance (IBGC), he now chairs the Strategic Governance Committee of the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain, represents IBGC in Portugal, and is a member of IPCG and the UK Institute of Directors.
