Cătălin Chiș is the CEO of LIFE IS HARD, the first Romanian software company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), AeRo market, Premium segment, and part of the BET AeRO index since 2021. An entrepreneur from Cluj with over 21 years of experience in business development, Cătălin Chiș has a strong technological background and is recognized as one of the most active investors in Romania's IT industry.

His career began in 2000 when he founded Active Power Solutions (APS), which later became a growth engine for LIFE IS HARD. Under his leadership, LIFE IS HARD has grown significantly, acquiring stakes in complementary companies such as Innobyte Solutions (e-commerce) and Performia Finance (financial services) and founding LIH Ventures, an innovation arm in the insurance sector.

Cătălin believes in the power of marketing to transform organizations, and in 2016 he became the majority shareholder of Graffiti PR, now known as GRF+. His community involvement is also remarkable, as he is the founder and president of the PEDITEL Foundation.
